Article on Why Some People Quit Jiu Jitsu

Jiu Jitsu mag has an article on why people quite the sport. They list a handful of the most common (valid) reasons: time, money, injuries, etc. They also mention the changing of goals, which is interesting. It reminded me of a conversation I had once with an old Judo coach. He explained there comes a few times in your martial art adventure where your “contract” with whatever discipline you choose will be up for renewal. This is a time where you have to decide: you can either renew the contract for another period of time, or you and the sport can part ways and you move on to the next adventure.

Anyway, check out the article and have a great day everyone!
