I Got Kicked Out of a Grappling Tournament (with Everyone Else)

Well, that’s a first.

You may have heard about this over the weekend: NAGA (aka, North American Grappling Association) held a tournament in Glassboro, NJ. Even though they called it NAGA Philadelphia. Yeah, I don’t really get it either.

Anyway, the venue turned out to be waaay too small for the event, and the fire marshal for the town came and kicked everyone out of the space. Eventually they let people back into the space, but there was such a back up that a lot of competitors dropped out, and understandably so: any sort of estimated start time was totally tossed out the window, as the venue owner had to count exactly how many people walked in and out of the venue.

So, anyway- how was your Saturday?
