Article Challenging You to Pick Someone Much Larger to Train With

Jiu jitsu Times has thrown down the gauntlet and has challenged all of us to try something: to train with someone who is much bigger than you.

I tend to do this on a (somewhat) regular basis, but if you don’t, I would suggest doing so. Read the article if you would like, and have a great day everyone!

  1. Interesting: I never roll with much larger grapplers, unless I already know they have excellent control. I’ve been injured by bigger grapplers (normally not their fault, just a matter of weight landing on something that can’t support it) too many times for that. The risk/reward is not worth it to me: risk of lasting injury and time off the mats, versus reward of sharpening up my defence a bit. ūüėČ
