Article on How One Guy Lost 25 Pounds for Jiu Jitsu

Someone posted an article on White Belt BJJ about how they lost 25 pounds in a month for jiu jitsu, which is great, it’s just not something I would recommend people strive for. Typically (and your results may vary) it’s generally considered in the healthy range if you lose about 2 pounds a week, which leads to a healthy range of 8-10 pounds a month.

This person did the right things (or sounds like they did the right things): they started to eat better, stopped drinking calorie laden alcoholic beverages, and upped their physical activity- all things I would recommend anyone do.
