So, according to Caio Terra’s Facebook page, apparently he was all set to fight in Pans Ultra Heavy Division but has unfortunately fallen ill and will not be competing at the tournament, period.
Sort of a bummer since it would have been interesting to see how he handled the ultra heavy dudes, but really at the end of the day your health is more important. Hopefully Terra feels better soon.
Oh, and IBJJF has added two new weight divisions for females, hooray! There was a petition going around for a lighter weight division, which they will be adding (rooster) but also it’s nice to see they added a new division to the heavier end of the spectrum as well.
