  1. Cool, I’ll have to give that a watch later. If I ever ran my own school, I’m not sure I’d even want to be part of an organisation, as then you often have to deal with a whole bunch of rules (specific uniform, class structure, strict curriculum handed down from the top, formal belt tests, etc). Works well for Christian Graugart, for example.

    So, it would be interesting to hear the advantages. The only one I can think of is having guidance from somebody more experienced, but I would have thought that is less applicable if you’re a black belt yourself. Or I guess benefitting from an organisation’s reputation, which would make sense from a business perspective.
