So who has two thumbs and totally promotes her friends projects with absolutely no shame? This chick!
I have several talented friends, who do many talented things. One of my dear friends, Scott, is a talented writer and into comics. He has started a kickstarter-ish fundraiser to fund a new project called “The Purple Tigress”. Apparently she was a comic book heroine from the 1940′s that slipped into obscurity after two short adventures. Scott and a group of artists are bringing her back with a brand new attitude. Here is part of the description from the indiegogo site, to give you a better idea:
“Anita Morgan, a.k.a. The Purple Tigress, has been reimagined as a fiercely independent woman trying to find her way in the societal boundaries of the 1940s – even while maintaining continuity with her first two published adventures. Assisted by her housemaid Prissy and the miniaturized informant Ritty, Issue #1 introduces a new and fantastic transformation of Anita’s goals and abilities. Nearly forgotten characters Mavara, Merciless the Sorceress, Jean Starr, and Bert McQuade round out the cast.”
