I ended up not going to no-gi last night, so I have nothing particularly interesting to report in terms of new techniques. I swore to myself that I’ll go on Thursday, so we’ll see how that plays out. It depends on if I feel like I’m about to freeze to death trying to get home.
I did happen to come across MMA Fighter Jason “Mayhem” Miller’s blog post about Dancing with the Devil. It’s well written, and funny as hell, so I would suggest take a moment and read. It reminds me a lot of my brother, without the adderall, and about 30% less angry.
I’ve also been browsing around LapelChoke.com which started up recently, and promises to be a pretty interesting site. Can’t wait!
I’m getting into one of those silly, slap-happy kind of moods, so we’ll see what that does to my training. Oh! There’s also a brief interview article with black belt female Marina Ribeiro, so check that out as well on the GracieMag site.
